In this week’s edition we’re jumping across the pond to cover one of the most celebrated comedy teams ever assembled, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. Alumni of Cambridge’s storied Footlights Club — where they performed with Emma Thompson — this dynamic duo have become gods of the comedy pantheon since they first burst onto the scene with their 1987-1995 sketch show A Bit of Fry & Laurie. Laurie became a household name in the States when he played the titular role in House, and while Fry has less international renown nearly everyone is familiar with his deep, buttery voice (and perhaps his recent tour as the British Prime Minister on 24: Live Another Day).
